Islamabad:
The noticed religious and political leader Senator Senator Professor Sajid Mir died on Saturday at the age of 86 after a heart attack, family sources said.
Mir, the leader of Jamiat Ahle Hadith Pakistan, belonged to a suburban area of District Sialkot.
A learned person and known for his scholarship, Professor Mir had a master’s degree in English and Islamic studies along with a BA in economics with Urdu and Psychology. He was also a Faazil in Dars-E-Nizami.
MIR was elected PML-N senator in 2021, which was his fifth time competing over the house elections on the party’s ticket. He had also served as a senator from March 2009 to March 2015.
