Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq said the coalition government has implemented several institutional reforms over his two years in office.
AJK PM, who shortly afterwards assumed the office in Thorad Rawalakot, pointed out that shortly after taking the office, he took strong measures against the tax mafia involved in tax evasion and fraud, which had siphoned 600 billion rupees from National Exchequer.
He emphasized that the events of corruption and melow provider have been largely treated, adding that strict actions have been taken against treasures, wood and cigarette mafia.
About institutional reforms, AJK PM highlighted the importance of Public Service Commission and NTS in Restoration of Profit from Recruitment. He said that nearly 3,000 boys and girls have been recruited on profit through NTS.
PM, which addressed the issue of unpaid bills and the financial consequences of electricity theft, noted: “We can only resolve the system by improving our character.”
He complained that while electricity was delivered to consumers for 71 rupees per year. Unit, was 70 percent of that theft. “Now the cost of electricity is 3 rupees per unit, and theft has risen from 70-71 percent, he added.
