No one wants this Season 2 is on its way to Netflix later in the year, and the role crew is officially back in production. So what is the next thing for Joanne ‘Shiksa’ and Noah the ‘Hot Rabbi’? It turns out quite a lot.
An immediate hit on Netflix, Season 1 premiered in September 2024 and quickly became one of the best Netflix shows to watch one of the best streaming services. Hearing it was renewed to another series, which was then made for some pretty exciting news.
And fortunately, there’s a lot more where it came from. Here is all we know so far about the return of No one wants this From the release date to cast, to plot and so much more.
No one wants this season 2: Is there a release date?
No one wants this Season 2 may not have an official release date yet but it has been confirmed that The show has premiered on Netflix later in the year.
According to the Instagram post above, the role crew and herd began filming for Season 2 in early March, and it seems the first episode is called ‘dinner party’.
If we look at Season 1, filming was performed between February and May 2024 with the show launched in September of that year. So since filming for season 2 started in March, it may well mean a release date for October or so. But we will have to wait and see.

There is no official No one wants this Season 2 Trailer yet, which is not surprising considering that the role crew and crew first started filming in March. Usually a trailer comes a little closer to the release date, so we expect to see a later year.

And exciting there are a lot of new role crew members who participate in the show. One is Adam Brody’s real wife, Leighton Meester. As revealed in Tudum, Leighton will guest star like Abby, ‘Joannes Nemesis from High School, now an Instagram-Mor influencer’.
However, Leighton is not the only one participating in the romantic drama. There are also Miles Fowler who wants to play Lenny, ‘Noah’s Matzah Baller’s teammate being created with Morgan (Justine LUPE)’.
And there are some more recurring guest stars, including Alex Karpovsky, who plays Big Noah, ‘An Overly Safe Rabbi at Noah’s Temple’ and Arian Moayed as Dr. Andy, ‘a charming, very considered (especially by himself) psychotherapist who might just be the perfect match for Morgan.’
There are also some new additions to the crew with Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan, both of Girls Fame who participates as a showrunners together with the creator of the series, Erin Foster.

No one wants this Season 1 left viewers on quite the hopeful love -hearted eyes Cliffhanger ends. The couple’s stormy relationship was apparently held on a religious stalemate towards the end of season 1, despite finding many reasons to stay together.
But Joanne did not feel ready to convert to Judaism, and it seemed that love was lost. Until Noah made a magnificent gesture outside a bar mitzvah. HOPE REENDED.
But when it comes to Season 2, Adam Brody told Tudum, “In light of the day, he will still feel like that? I don’t know. It’s an open question.” And fortunately, it seems that season 2 will give the answers.
Brody added: “I think that’s what the show an exploration. What are we going to do? What should she do? What versions of sacrifice are it worth? What constitutes growth or what constitutes dampening of yourself to be with another? It’s a victim but ideal you grow together and you’re better at it – you don’t have to [lop off a limb]”
So there are clearly some big life -changing questions that the couple needs to find answers to if they want to navigate forward, despite their cultural and family differences that stand firm in the way.
But it’s not only Noah and Joanne who have a love life to navigate in season 2.
In a speech with Screenrant, Timothy Simons, who plays Sasha, brushed away the gossip away and said, “It’s not very fun to break a family”. Addition: “Justine, I think, looked straight into the camera when we were on the Golden Globes and were like” They don’t come together, “So I think we can remove that rumor.”
Instead if we look at the new role crew members who participate in No one wants this Season 2, there are new love interests in the city for Morgan. And that’s why we get to say, “Come down, Miles and Dr. Andy.”
Of course, Noah and Joanne are at the center of this emotional and captivating drama, praised for her ability to shine a light on a complicated religious relationship. And there is much more to loosen No one wants this Season 2.
Will there be more seasons of no one wants this?
No one wants this Season 2 was renewed the month after Season 1 was sent. Because of this, we are not sure what the future has as far as a season 3 is concerned, as Season 2 has not yet premiered.
But Erin Foster has suggested more. She talked to people with her sister Sara, whom she also runs a podcast like the show, she suggested a possible como in Season 3: “I always thought it would be fun to do it, but I never created a character that I thought was the perfect character.”
Sara then replied, “Maybe Season 3, Morgan and Joanne go on Sabbath’s Day, and then it’s us.” As Erin replied, “Oh, we just replace them.”
So while there is no official line from Netflix yet, there is definitely hope.
