- Over 7 million pixels SDQHD resolution makes your old screen look old
- Not 5K or 8K but the Japanese vertical screen might be what your desk needs
- If you cod, write or edit all day this screen should be your new friend
Japannext has expanded its unique range of business screens with the release of JN-IPS276SDQHD-HSPC6-CMS, a new 27.6-inch SDQHD screen with over 7 million pixels — a viable option that can improve your office or home-from work setup.
Like the alogic 28-inch vertical screen, this almost square screen offers a 2,560 x 2,880 resolution with a rare 16:18 image ratio.
It is especially suitable for coding, working with long documents and editing spreadsheets or weblayouts, as the elongated format similar to LGS Dualup Monitor reduces rolling and helps improve focus.
A new form for modern work
The screen has a Matt IPS panel that covers 100% of the SRGB spectrum and 97% of DCI-P3, making it a strong opportunity for color-sensitive tasks. It offers a pointed brightness of 300 CD/m², a contrast ratio of 1,000: 1 and wide 178 ° view angles in all directions.
For comfort during extended use, the screen includes flicker-free backlighting, filtration modes with blue lights and HDR support.
Targeting hybrid workers, Japannext Monitor integrates an extractible webcam and microphone in the upper edge of the panel, supported by double 5W built-in speakers.
Connection is extensive, including HDMI 2.0, Displayport 1.4, USB Type-C with 65W power supply and a USB-A hub.
Productivity features such as image-for-image (PBP), image-in-picture (PIP) and an integrated sqm switch adds additional tools to users managing multiple systems.
All this comes in a chassis that weighs approx. 6.2 kg, with 100 mm height adjustment, 45 ° turning swivel, full swivel support and VESA 75×75 compatibility.
JN-IPS276SDQHD-HSPC6-CMS is priced at 109,800 yen (about $ 765), giving a strong value compared to higher end 5K and 8K screens.
A review of this unit is expected to arrive on our desk very soon.
