Pakistan successfully completes training launch of Fatah -Sissil

On Monday, Pakistan successfully conducted a training launch of the FATAH series surface-to-surface missile with a range of 120 kilometers, according to an official statement from the military’s media wing.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the launch was performed as part of the ongoing military training exercise Indus.

The purpose of the training launch was to ensure the operational preparedness of the Pakistan Army troops and to validate key technical parameters for the missile system, including its advanced navigation system and improved targeting accuracy, says ISPR.

The launch witnessed by senior officials of the Pakistani army as well as researchers and engineers associated with the country’s strategic organizations.

Following the test, the Chairman of the Joint Staff Committee and Chief of Army Staff succeeded in the participating staff and expressed full confidence in the operational emergency preparedness and technical capabilities of the armed forces to defend Pakistan’s territorial integrity against any external threat.
