Ben Affleck’s ideal woman has been explained by a well placed insider that just had a chat with In contact.

According to this source, the newly lonely Affleck is looking for a woman who “must be independent, strong in her conviction and understand that Ben’s soberness must come first.”

And at the same time, “someone sober would be ideal, but it’s not a priority.”

Despite his recent divorce from Jennifer Lopez, who “did a number on him”, the insider admits that the star is “hopeful” for “lasting love.”

For those who are not daring, Affleck publicly approached his divorce from Lopez back in March 2025.

At the time he sat with GQ explaining, “Yes, there is no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue.”
