Netflix Child Star Millena Brandao’s sudden death has left Brazil and mourned the loss.

The Rising Child Star that was famous for its lead role in the Netflix series Sintoniadied Friday, May 2, at the age of 11, according to a statement released by her parents.

Millena’s parents shared that they took their daughter to several medical centers after she faced headaches, appetite and ability to walk and were hospitalized several times. Eventually, the 11-year-old suffered several heart attacks, which led to her death.

The actress’s parents wrote a long tribute to their daughter on Instagram and detailed her sufferings.

“Open letter to my little girl. On May 2, we lost our little girl, but I’m sure she’s in the arms of our almighty father, and in a beautiful place to play,” the statement began. “The memories we have used together will remain in my memory, and I will never forget your joy that was contagious to everyone around you. My girl, I am already missing you more and more not to have you here and I know I will miss you even more in the coming days!”

“You were the light of our lives and I know that from there you will continue to keep an eye on us and turn on our lives,” the message continued. “And I will love you forever and you will always be in my heart. I love you my girl 12/27/2013 to 05/02/2025.”

The official cause of death to Millena has not been revealed yet.
