Patients deported from India to get free treatment

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has ordered free treatment of patients returning from India due to tension in bilateral relations.

Following the recent outbreak between both countries, Pakistani patients were sent back from India without the end of their treatment.

It has been decided to ensure treatment of patients who need transplantation and disorder of various diseases of the province.

The Minister of Ministry ordered the authorities to secure free treatment of patients who returned from India after incomplete treatment.

She promised, “Patients who returned from India will not be alone in any circumstances.” She sent directions to officials in the health department in this regard.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also discussed with Punjab -Assembly speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan and MPAS Sardar Muhammad Asim Sher Maken and Khurram Khan Virk Questions relating to public welfare, national and political affairs, budget and development projects.

She said the delivery of public service would be accelerated throughout the province.

At another meeting, the minister of chief set the prize of the Lahore police to limit crimes in Lahore.

She said, “Lahore Police Operation Wing’s commendable performance in the ‘Crime Index’ has made it a safe city compared to London and New York.
