The Connor Stalion’s shot scandal for Michigan football is expected to affect Wolverines in 2025.

Head coach Sherrone Moore is expected to be suspended two games next season as a result of accusations that he could not cooperate in NCAA’s study of Michigan’s sign under coach Jim Harbaugh in 2023, according to Associated Press.

The suspension is reportedly expected to come across Wolverines’ third and fourth games of the season. They play at home against Central Michigan on September 13, then at Nebraska a week later.

Michigan also has a self -impaired sanction that has not yet been announced, according to the report. Wolverines’ program shook college football that season, especially considering the team being undefeated that year.

While NCAA has no rules against stealing signs from the sidelines, they do not allow schools to send scouts for games of future opponents and use electronic devices to detect other teams signs.

Big Ten School Records showed that Stalions had purchased tickets for games with teams that Michigan would play on their schedule and sent people to record them on the sidelines to see if he could pick up on play signals.

Stalions did not participate in the investigating organ’s investigation after withdrawing from his position with Michigan.

Before Moore took over for Harbaugh, after jumping back in the NFL with Los Angeles chargers, NCAA claimed he violated the rules as an assistant under Harbaugh. He was accused of deleting text messages with stalls that were eventually recovered and given to NCAA for its study.

Moore said he has worked with NCAA and will continue to do so.

Moore went 8-5 in his first full season as Michigan’s main football coach, and after a solid recruitment class, Wolverines are expected to be heavy challengers to win the Big Ten.
