DG ISPR LIGHT GENERAL AHMED SHARIF CHAUDHRY informed early Saturday that India launched six Ballistic missiles from Adampur Airbase in Indian Punjab. Of these, a missile landed near the general area of Adampur itself, while the remaining five hit locations in the Amritsar region.
DG ISPR characterized the incident as a reckless step that threatened civilian life and raised serious questions about India’s operational intention and internal targeting protocols.
He said, “India is targeted through its schemes, populations of Sikhs in Indian Punjab. All our sympathy are with Sikhs and minorities who fall victim to its (India’s) own internal conspiracies. This is a shocking development and provocation of the highest order, where India has now begun to shoot ballistic missiles on its own population, which does not give any reason. Bere.
Earlier on Friday, DG ISPR India challenged evidence if it has any, of Pakistan’s attack on Indian military installations with drone and missiles. “Pakistan has not used drones or rockets. If India claims anything else, let it provide evidence,” he challenged and criticized Indian media for spreading “fabricated stories.”
When he spoke by a briefing for foreign media, he said the retirement of the Pakistani military against India’s aggression was limited to the Indian military positions fired in civilian areas along the control line (LOC).
LT Gen Chaudhry, together with PAF’s Director -General Public Relations (DGPR), became Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed and Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (Operations) Back Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz.
Chaudhry claimed that Indian forces are involved in terrorist activities not only in Pakistan but in countries such as the United States and Canada.
“There is credible evidence that Indian handles who assign terrorist tasks to militants operating in Pakistan,” he said, adding that captured communication between Indian soldiers and terrorist operatives has been documented.
He condemned Indian media and said it is continuously spreading untruths. “Indian journalists like Barkha Dutt have used their platforms to reinforce incorrect information,” he said. He quoted a recent case in Britain, where an Indian diplomat mistakenly accused a person who performed a funeral prayer of terrorism.
He also rejected India’s claims connecting Pakistan with the recent Pahaldam event. “Pakistan has no connection with that event. If India thinks otherwise, it must accept an independent investigation,” he said.
“Pakistan is the last barrier against terrorism in the region,” concluded DG ISPR. “We do not support any terrorist organization. We are its victims – and we are fighting back, not only for ourselves, but for regional peace.”
