Wurzel’s sung “I have a brand new combine harvester and I give you the key”, which peripheral maker -thrustmaster must have taken inspiration from … for the second time, as it has just revealed Simtask Farmstick Playstation – a joystick designed to be used with Agricultural Simulator 25.
We have already taken the Thrustmaster Simtask Farmstick X, it is the one designed for use with the Xbox Series X and Series S, for a spin and was impressed with its wide range of input, precise control and card buttons when using it with a PC. But a few things like limited compatibility and its very niche use cases so it loses half a half in our review.
There should definitely be some budding farmers on PlayStation, as Thrustmaster has now come out with a version of SimTask Farmstick for the PS5 and PS5 Pro.

Now I admit freely that I’m not a huge simulator fan, but I appreciate peripheral devices that are fully dedicated to helping (something) repeating the controls of the real world vehicles. And SimTask Farmstick looks decorated with the right buttons for the operation of heavy agricultural machinery.
As a person coming from an agricultural background, I have been around a few modern tractors, and these days they tend to have a tendency to take a closer look at gaming dinghies than traditional steering wheel and gearsticks.
Simstask Farmstick Playstation is very similar to the Xbox version with 18 buttons on its base, six buttons on the stick, two rocker switches, a thumb wheel and a mini-stick on the main jolens. Of course, the Xbox button has been replaced by a black Playstation.
There is a catch here: To get the most out of SimTask Farmstick Playstation, use it with the steering wheel’s peripheral. But I think if you are already looking at dedicated peripheral units for agricultural simulator 25, go full throttle on it and get the Simtask control set.
