- Dimensions for Galaxy Z Fold 7 are leaked
- The device apparently has super -thin frame
- It could measure only 3.9 mm in front of back
The rumors around the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 are starting to pick up seriously, and a new leak suggests that the new folder will be higher, wider and thinner than its predecessor, as well as having a smaller frame around the main display.
This comes from the well -known tipster @universeice, who claims that the frame around the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is only 1 mm thick. It is compared to 1.9 mm on the current Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, so that is a significant difference.
There is also a mention of the framework around the screen of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, which apparently measures 1.2 mm. It looks like super -thin frame will be a feature when Samsung comes around to reveal these two foldable ones.
If Samsung sticks to the same schedule as last year, we will see these phones sometime in July. There has also been a Samsung Tri-Fold phone that can be revealed at the same time, although there is a good chance that it will go on sale later than the other two handsets.
Becomes thin

We also have some dimensions from @Iceuniverse about the size of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. Apparently it will measure 158.4 mm with 143.1 mm when opened and will be only 3.9 mm thick front to back.
The current handset – see our Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Review for details – measures 153.5 mm x 132.6 mm x 5.6 mm. It seems that Samsung’s engineers have been busy getting the new foldable as thin as possible, reducing the thickness by almost a third.
Go to our Oppo Find N5 review to read about the phone that currently has the title of the thinnest collapsible on the market: It measures only 4.21 mm at the front of back. If these rumors are true, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be even thinner.
This thinness may affect the life of the battery, but we will have to wait and see. In the meantime, we look forward to the launch of another super -thin phone from Samsung next week: Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge.
