Lahore Qalandar’s CEO Atif Rana expressed optimism that the remaining Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches will be held in Pakistan.
Last week, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had announced the indefinite postponement of the remaining eight matches in PSL 10 in the light of the worsening regional security situation.
However, after Pakistan and India reached an understanding of a ceasefire, however, sources told sources of Pakinomist News that PCB is expected to make a bigger decision on the remaining matches soon.
Rana, who was talking about the Pakinomist News’ program “Pakinomist Pakistan,” said the franchises have unanimously called for the tournament to continue in the country.
He noted that packed stadiums would project a positive picture of Pakistan to the world, and emphasized that the full return of the tournament for local reasons would be a significant performance.
“The last call for this case will be made by the PCB chairman [Mohsin Naqvi]“Rana clarified and expressed confidence in the management’s decision.
When he commented on his own team’s performance, Rana said Lahore Qalandars has a match back and a win would see them through to the playoffs.
