Trey Hendrickson is more than open to living in Cincinnati, but it seems that Bengals is forcing him out the door.
Edge Rusher, who led the NFL in sacks this last season, has been critical of his organization recently, but the scornful statement he released Monday gave a look behind the curtain.
Back in March, Bengals Hendrickson gave permission to seek a trade – last month he said the communication from them had been “bad.”

Well, this communication is apparently stopped, according to Hendrickson.
“No communication has taken place between my camp and the organization after draft,” Hendrickson said in a statement.
“The offers prior to the draft did not reflect the vision we shared and were promised last offseason if I continued to play at a high level. Trainer is aware of these previous conversations. Instead of using cooperation to get us to a point to bring me home to the team, they are no longer communicating. mutual with reaching out to take a resolution ”.

Hendrickson finished each of the last two seasons with 17.5 sacks. He enters the last year of his contract.
“We don’t have any desire to be highest paid or know, first in line,” Hendrickson said last month. “I don’t want to go into all the details, but just like there are things that I am willing to do and willing not to bay on. I don’t think I will play for incentives that will be out of my control. I don’t think I will play (on a) short -lived contract …. I want to tell my wife, ‘Here we are where we are going to live. Do you know? ”
Hendrickson turned 30 in December, has been with Cincinnati since 2021 and has been an absolute steal for them. He spent his first four seasons with New Orleans Saints But failed to put numbers until its last season there and recorded a career high at the time of 13.5 sacks after only 6.5 in its first three NFL seasons.
