North Carolina Tar Heels head coach Bill Belichick made clear on Tuesday that Jordon Hudson “has nothing to do” with the football program.
It was Belichick’s first remarks since CBS Interview Debacle, which contained Hudson, who interrupted a question about their relationship and dueling statements about how the interview went down.

He appeared at ESPN’s “Sports Center” when ACC’s spring meetings were underway and was asked by Christine Williamson how the off-Field drama has influenced his ability to train the team.
“It’s really off to the side. It’s a personal relationship and she has nothing to do with UNC football,” Belichick said.
“I am excited to be back at the coaches’ meetings and get ready for June and August when we come to training camp. June will be a great month of recruitment for us and then we start getting ready for the season.”
Hudson may not have an official role in the program, but E email correspondence within the athletics department seemed to show that she was part of his media team in some capacity.
Hudson E -emailed school officials who showed concern about “Salacious” comment on social media, Athletic reported last month.
“Is there anyone who monitors the UNC football side for baked comments and then deletes it / blocks users who harass BB in the comments?” Hudson allegedly asked on February 13th.

Belichick reportedly followed up the next day, “I can’t believe UNC would support that I was called a ‘predator.'”
Robbi Picteral Evans, UNC Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs and Strategic Communications, replied that the team on social media is hiding or deleting comments about personal life.
“UNC would never support,” Evans allegedly said in his answer.
Hudson also allegedly expressed concern for fans who call “nepotism”, given that Belichick’s son, Steve, is the team’s defensive coordinator.
Belichick allegedly asked UNC staff to include Hudson on E emails moving on.
North Carolina was forced to refute a report last week after journalist Pablo Torre said Hudson had been blocked from the facility and the field at school.

“While Jordon Hudson is not an employee of the university or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina football facilities. Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand outside her responsibility for Carolina Football and University,” the university’s athletic program said in a statement.
