False document requirement Radiation leakage in Pakistan after India -Conflict

Several users on social media are circulating an alleged government of Pakistan document that claims that a radiation leak in Pakistan emerged following a recent conflict with India.

The claim is false. The letter is made.

A document dated May 13, allegedly issued by Pakistan’s Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, has become viral on social media.

The title “Radiological Safety Bulletin” claims that the government through the National Radiological Safety Division (NRSD) discovered a radiation leakage on a licensed industry located in “Northern Administrative Zone.”

According to the document, the incident on May 11, 2025, on “approx. 24:55 hours” found during the maintenance of radiological equipment used for non-destructive testing (NDT). It further describes the event and the actions taken by officials to contain the situation.

Fact

The document circulated online is self -generated, confirmed the spokesman for Pakistan’s Ministry of Climate Change. This fact was also independently verified by GEO FACT CHECK.

Muhammad Saleem, spokesman at the Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination in Islamabad, told GEO FACT CHECK During the phone the document was “false”.
