There has been plenty of new information everywhere, with news about both shows and WBD streaming and broadcasting platforms when the company Bigwigs goes to stage.
With messages that come thick and fast, the big news can be easy to miss, but here we break down the five most exciting news from the day, with Westeros Returns, confusing rebrands, new streaming services and more.
1. Superman gets a brand new trailer
Look at
Top of the Bill is the man of steel itself with a brand new trailer – as you can see above – to James Gunn’s upcoming Superman.
Starring David Corenswet as Supes, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, the new movie is a brand new recording of Big Blue Boy ScoutAt Although all the Multiverse -Shenanigans happening across superhero cinema recently, we would not exclude a connection to the supposedly dead DCEU.
The latest trailer shows a lot of what we have seen before, including the loneliness fortress and big screen debut of super-cainine crypto and further show the themes Gunn seems to play with Kal-El’s status as an immigrant and vigilance.
Gunn has definitely spiced up any superhero story, he has turned his hand to date, and I will be there as a new Dawn breaks on DC’s cinematic offer on July 11.

Based on George RR Martin Hedge Knight Novella, the new show follows Eventures of Seeing Duncan The Tall (Peter Claffey) and S Squire Egg (Dexter Sol Ansell) as they travel the fictional country in time between Game of Thrones and Dragon House.
To a large extent expected to land this year, the third Westeros-set show will instead arrive at “Winter” 2026, leaving us sweet summer children in the hope that winter will come sooner than later.

4. Max redirects back to HBO MAX
The most surprising piece of news that came out of advance was perhaps the announcement that WBD’s flagship flow service would add the HBO monitor back in his name.
The streamer originally went by HBO Max when it was launched by 2020, trading with the reputation that HBO had, which the home of the best American TV had to offer. In 2023, WBD dropped the prefixed and overfilled streamer to simply, max, moving Westworldfrom his library.
But now these three letters are due to a comeback, with the service again set to be known as HBO Max after a relaunch this summer. Apparently is aware that a quality of the quantity method may be the way forward, WBD said: “No consumer today says they want more content, but most consumers say they want better content.” This seems to involve a shift for WBD, with reading HBO to the name, which involves a refocused to the kind of prestige -TV that made the network boldly indicate “It’s not TV. It’s HBO” in the first place.
5. CNN reveals new streaming service
After the bad fate CNN+, the news network goes back into the streaming world with a brand new service set to arrive in the fall.
After a first US launch, the platform will be available globally with CEO Mark Thompson calls it “the first true new streaming service.” Streamer will also bundle CNN.com, which recently went behind a Paywall, and will include live channels, news feeds and exclusive programming.
Current cable and satellite subscribers will be able to access the service at no extra cost, and CNN will at least at least continue to have a presence of max after its rebrand.
