- Intel just teased a new battlemage arc gpu that asked gaming fans to ‘keep me tuned’
- It is expected to be revealed on Computex 2025 along with New Arc Pro and AI GPUs
- It can be a great opportunity for Team Blue to catch up on its rivals with a more powerful, higher end GPU compared to the ARC B570 and B580
With Computex 2025 now on us, it’s almost time for lots of tech revelations from handheld games -PCs, processors and GPUs -and Intel has suggested a few great revelations to challenge its rivals, NVIDIA and AMD.
In a post on X, Intel announced that it will reveal the New Arc Pro and AI GPUs on Computex; The most important thing is that it is just hinted at a new battlemage GPU, with ‘Keep an eye on’ answers to users who flooded the answers with GPU requests alleged as ‘Arc B770’ for players.
Several rumors have been widespread in terms of Team Blue, which potentially releases a higher end GPU as an upgrade from its previous GPUs (reported by Videocardz), after its bow B570 and ARC B580 GPUs were launched late last year.
A particularly apparently revealed Intel’s plans for a new bow B580 with 24 GB of VRAM, which is a significant upgrade from the current model 12 GB. It is also expected to get together with other 24 GB PRO GPUs for workstations.
Thanks to Intel’s new teasers, these rumors now have more credibility, although it is not exactly clear whether it will reveal both a new bow B580 24 GB GP and a brand new bow B770, or just the latter alone. A clear thing, however, is that players get a new battlemage GPU, and one that is more powerful than any of Team Blue’s previous offers – and a Computex 2025 dislike looks imminent.
Intel has an opportunity to bridge the gap and catch up with Nvidia and AMD
It’s no secret that despite the successes and impressive game performance of both Intel Arc B580 and ARC B570, Team Blue still has some gathering to do with NVIDIA and AMD. Fortunately, this rumor GPU sounds like it may be the start of it.
Both of its recent battlemage GPUs are not high level GPUs, but still manage to provide good benefit results at 1080p and 1440p solutions such as budget options-but now it sounds like Intel makes an effort to give GPUs closer to the middle or high levels (or at least more powerful GPUs than what is available).
Although nothing is guaranteed, I hope this is really the case because affordable GPUs need a greater focus for budget players; AMDS RADEON RX 9070 and 9060 series is a good example of this (despite inflation questions for partner cards).
I still keep my expectations low as I expect there will be no ‘high-end’ GPUs like the rumored ARC B580 24GB may suggest; At least I don’t see any of Intel’s new GPUs matching or competing against them as a RTX 5070 TI.
However, rumors indicate that Intel potentially boils something that makes players take it more seriously when it comes to the GPU market – and I hope it’s a big surprise.
