Bomb Blast hits Mna’s home in Bajaur

Islamabad/Bannu:

A bomb exploded at the main gate of the ancestral residence of a member of the National Assembly (MNA) and special assistant to the Prime Minister, Mubarak Zeb, in the Bajaur District, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

In a statement on his official X account on Wednesday, Zeb said the explosion targeted him and his family and confirmed no one was injured.

He condemned the incident as a fair act and stated that no one could demoralize him with these tactics.

“The main gate of my house was blown up with a bomb,” he added.

Meanwhile, two terrorists were killed in an intense exchange of fire with law enforcement authorities in jurisdiction at the police station Miryan, Bannu. A police officer was also injured during surgery.

According to details, security forces launched a quick operation following intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in the area. On the instructions from RPO Bannu, a heavy police quota was sent to the stage.
