Subway Series Drama Brews Like Juan Soto facing Yankees for the first time since exit

All-Star Outfielder Juan Soto spent the 2024 season in Bronx and was an important part of New York Yanke’s race for last year’s World Series. In December, he signed a historic contract with New York’s second MLB team – Mets.

“His focus will be to put well bats,” Holmes said. “He is always able to lock it into the big moments. It will be fun to see him.”

Soto ended his lonely season with Yankees with 41 home runs and a .288 batting average. The real Fielder has hit eight homers in 43 games so far this season with Mets.

Mets was inactive Thursday, but goes into Friday’s match against Yankees initially in NL East.
