Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Thursday that Pakistan was ready for dialogue with India for the sake of peace, but the negotiations should be in the Kashmir issue and to grant the right to self-determination to Kashmiris.
He made the offer while talking to Pakistan Air Force pilots and staff during a special visit to Kamra Air Base.
He said that Pakistan was ready for conversations with India to achieve peace, but that it had certain conditions.
He asked India to hold conversations about the Kashmir question and add that the population of the occupied Kashmir should be given their right to self -determination in accordance with the United Nations Security Council’s resolutions.
Kashmir’s freedom movement was very alive, he noticed and added that Pakistan was incorrectly accused of the Pahagam incident.
Pakistan would have a transparent examination of the incident, but India resorts to aggression instead of conducting a probe in the incident, he continued.
The Prime Minister visited the airline base to appreciate Pakistan Air Force, which successfully defended the nation during one of the longest airlines in the 21st century, which permanently established Pakistan’s air abrasion by breaking down Indian aircraft into a critical defense operation.
