YouM-e-Taskur (Day of grate) is today being observed today to mark the historic victory for the historic victory Marka-e-Haq and to pay tribute to the armed forces and the country’s resilient people after success with Operation Bunyan Marsoos.

Change of guard ceremonies was held this morning at Mausoleums in Quaid-E-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Karachi and Allama Muhammad Iqbal in Lahore. Special flower wreaths were laid to Yadgaar-e-Shuhada to honor the victims of the martyrs.

In Lahore, members of the Clean City Workers Union held a festive demonstration at the Lahore Press Club to commemorate the achievement of Operation Bunyan-Um-Maroos.

Special meetings are held with the families of martyrs to pay tribute to their victims. Local authorities and military officials personally visit these families and recognize their contribution to the nation’s defense.

In his previous address, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had announced that YouM-E-Marka-E-Haq would be observed annually on May 10 to commemorate the successful defense of the homeland and the mature of the armed forces. He emphasized that this day symbolizes national unity and pride in the military’s professional abilities.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz have also issued special messages to the nation on the occasion of YouM-e-Taskur declares the success of Operation Bunyan Marsoos As a common victory for Pakistan’s armed forces and its proud, dignified people.

In his message marking thanksgiving day over Pakistan’s resounding success in response to Indian aggression, President Asif Ali Zardari said the nation is celebrating YouM-e-Taskur To honor the triumph of Operation Bunyan-EM-Marsoos.

He paid tribute to the brave soldiers and commanded the armed forces and said that this victory does not belong to the military alone, but is shared by the entire nation.

President Zardari praised the professional and powerful reaction of Pakistan’s military on Indian provocations. “The world has recognized Pakistan’s patience and recognized our operational expertise,” he said.

He reiterated that Pakistan is a peaceful nation without aggressive ambitions, but will never compromise on its sovereignty or territorial integrity. “Any aggression against our earth will be met with a decisive response,” the president warned.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his special message about YouM-e-Taskursaid Pakistan Air Force’s Falcons made the enemy a cautionary narrative within hours of recent confrontation.

“Today, the nation expresses gratitude to Allah Almighty for the glorious victory against India’s open aggression and provocation,” the prime minister said.

He expanded gratitude to General Syed Asim Munir for his wise and brave leadership in achieving this great victory. He also praised chief of the air staff Zaheer Babar and his “Falcons” for their exemplary performance and greeted Admiral Naveed Ashraf of Pakistan Navy to protect the country’s maritime borders.
