Pakistan’s police force has gained significant international recognition as Asp Anum Sher Khan secured first place in the “Excellence in Criminal Investigation” category at the World Police Summit 2025.

According to a spokesman for the Punjab police, the award was presented to Anum Sher Khan at a prestigious ceremony held at the Dubai World Trade Center.

The award was handed over by commander-in-chief of the DUBAI police. Officers from 192 countries were evaluated across different categories for their extraordinary performance.

Represents Pakistan, Asp Anum Sher Khan impressed international judges with his expertise and professional behavior and ultimately won the top honor. The award recognizes her excellent contribution in criminal investigation.

Inspector of the Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, Anum Sher Khan congratulated with her remarkable performance and said, “Her success has brought pride to both Pakistan and the Punjab police on the world scene.”

“Talented officers like Asp Anum Sher Khan will play an important role in future police management” he added.

According to Punjab Police spokesman, World Police Summit is one of the largest and most professional global platforms for police management. It recognizes officers every year for their excellent leadership and innovative police methods.

After strict assessments and interviews, the price committee chose two officers from the Punjab police this year.

The other Honoouree, DPO Kasur Muhammad Essa Khan, was awarded the second position in the category “Best Artificial Intelligence in Police” for his exemplary performance.
