Indycar -driver Kyffin Simpson was involved in a scary crash under the Indianapoli’s 500 practice Friday.
Simpson came around the last turn and was heading towards the front stretch as the back of his vehicle twisted and he lost control. Simpson threw his left front into the wall and went in the air a few moments before returning. He doesn’t flip.

Parts and garbage were stranded over the field when the practice was suspended briefly before it started again.
“I’m all good, praise the Lord,” Simpson told Fox Sports after he was checked out at Emergency Care Center. “It’s a tough way to start fast Friday. Just a strange crash. Everything knows it was weird.
“Even from Out-Lap, something didn’t really feel right. I kept going right on the weight and trying to help the car. It just never really felt like I expected it was. It was just a weird one. We’ll go back and look at some data and try to find out what might have been wrong and try to make sure it’s not happening again.”
