Islamabad:
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director-General LT Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry on Saturday aimed at those who criticized the military’s role in the national defense and now asked them to tell whether the armed forces have fulfilled their duty or not.
“You [critics] Used to say that the army is not doing its job-question them now, has the army fulfilled its duty or not? “Said DG ISPR during a special interactive session with students and teachers in Islamabad days after success with Operation Bunyan-Um-Maroos against India’s unprovoked aggression.
“Shouldn’t those who spoke against the army and its officers be responsible?” Lt gen chaudhry asked.
Pakistan launched Operation Bunyan-EM-Maroos on May 10 and damaged Indian military installations, including missile storage sites, airbases and other strategic goals.
The tensions between the two-armed neighbors escalated after 26 people, most of them tourists, were killed in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) on April 22. India immediately accused Pakistan of the incident, despite the fact that they have not presented any public proof. On May 7, India conducted missile attacks in Punjab and AJK and destroyed a mosque and killed dozens of civilians, including women, children and the elderly. Islamabad responded by diminishing six Indian jets.
The military spokesman approached the critical role of youth to shape the country’s future and recognize their contributions as important for national progress.
He warned of the enemy’s malicious intentions and emphasized the need for national unity. Pakistan is a cradle of peace, and every victory for Pakistan is essentially a victory for peace, he said.
In a speech with the students, DG ISPR expressed optimism about the country’s future. “The love you have shown to Pakistan and its armed forces is proof that our future is not just light – it’s brilliant,” he said.
LT Gen Chaudhry declared that the Pakistani army draws its strength from the people and the people are firm with their armed forces.
He confirmed the tape between the armed forces and the people and called the civilian “the Iron Wall.”
DG ISPR further declared that the generations of the day and tomorrow will never get away from defending Pakistan. He also emphasized that terrorism witnessed in Pakistan has clear relations with Indian commitment.
“We must now redirect the Iron Wall – our national unity – Towards, eliminating terrorism. If the people and the army stand together, no terrorist will survive in this country,” he claimed. He urged students to respect their teachers. “We must greet our teachers.” On behalf of the armed forces, he offered a greeting to teachers all over Pakistan.
Separately paid tribute to DG ISPR, Iran’s peace efforts in the recent conflict in the Pakistan India and warned of “forces” seeking to create a gap among fraternal countries.
