New Strands Today (Game #442) – The answers
The answers to today’s threads, game #442, are …
- Mackerel
- TROUT
- SALMON
- Snapper
- Halibut
- Spanggram: Somethings Fishy
- My rating: Easy
- My score: Perfect
About a quarter of a way through today’s search I thought with myself “There is no way that threads would have a pointed as long as Somethings Fishy is there?”
But oh, how wrong I was and it takes a third of the grid when we could fish for fished words.
I also have a hard time looking at without the apostrophe – as in ‘Something’s Fishy’ – even if it would not work in a word search, but maybe I’m alone with it.
Mackerel was the easiest word to find thanks to CK in its name, while Snapper turned out to be the hardest to drain as there were several variants in the letters.
Apart from that, today’s search was about as easy as shooting fish in a bucket, but in justice it was limited to a tasty and decorative choice – none of these fine sources of omega 3 are likely to find themselves as an ingredient in a stick or burger.
How did you do today? Tell me that in the comments below.
Yesterday’s new strings Answer (Sunday 18 May, Game #441)
