- A number of role-crew rumors about Marvel’s X-Men Movie Start have appeared online
- Different Lepper claims that four big names are tapped to play a trio of iconic mutants
- Fans are asked to take the aforementioned speculation with a large pinch of salt
Marvel’s X-Men movie setting is still a few years away. But after several rumors appeared online last week (May 16-21), which connects various actors with great name with roles in the said film, the latest round of silly seasonal casting is absolutely to us.
Cartoon -giant’s iconic mutants are set to play a role in Multiverse Saga’s next two Avengers movie. Actually with older figures including Patrick Stewarts Professor X and Ian McKellen’s Magneto among Avengers: Judgment Day‘s first 27-strong role crew, actors who appeared in the 20th century Fox’s now-defunct X-Men franchise, return to one last hurray before passing the torch of the next generation.
In spite of the fact Avengers: Judgment Day and its successor Avengers: Secret Wars Land not in theaters until May 2026 and May 2027, Marvel is already sheding the globe (according to industry insiders, anyway) for A-lists to produce X-Men in Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The first- and determined the most eyebrow-breeding piece of gossip that appeared online comes from prominent delicious mythimetoshinehello (MTTSH). According to Industry Insider, whose recent Track Record can be described as ‘mixed’ at best, none other than Daniel Day-Lewis became the eye to succeed McKellen and colleague Magneto actor Michael Fassbender as the metal manipulative mutant.
As large coup as it would be for Marvel to persuade Dag-Lewis to attend MCU, this particular piece of speculation feels unlikely to say the least.
The award -winning actor announced his retirement from shopping over seven years ago and apart from appearing in AnemoneAn upcoming drama directed by his son Ronan, Day-Lewis has not starred in another big or small screen project since 2017’s Phantom thread. Therefore, it seems unlikely that he would be coaxed out of retirement in what would probably be an MCU agreement with more pictures.
Day-Lewis is not the only fan-favorite actor who has been linked to a significant role as part of MCU’s new X-Men-Line-Up.
Bryan Cranston – yes, he of Breaking Bad and Malcolm in the middle Fame, to name only two of his most notable roles-siges to be in the course of potentially playing opposite Dags-Lewis as MCU’s Charles Xavier.
Again, this seems like an unusual fit for an actor whose best roles have seen him embody morally complex characters. In that sense, playing an X-Men adjacent individual/antagonist, such as losing sinister-a role, would have talked about having talked about tackling (per digital spy) a decade ago-be a better fit.

Then there is speculation about who will play Ororo Munroe, otherwise known as the iconic weather -manipulative mutant called Storm. Per Mainmiddleman has Marvel turned to Kirby Howell-Baptiste (Sandman) and Jodie Turner-Smith (Star Wars: Acolyte) To play her.
Now it would be abandoned by me not to say that all the above should be taken with a massive pinch of salt. First, another industry leaks – Apocalyptic Horseman – have said that they have not even heard that a role has been prepared on the list of Marvel.
No matter how accurate apocalyptic rider sources can be, remember the tireless rumor mill about who would play Fantastic Four, alias Marvel’s first family, in The Fantastic Four: First Steps And beyond MCU? Everyone from Adam Driver and Penn Badgley with the association of playing Reed Richards, while like Margot Robbie and Jodie Comer were allegedly tapped to produce Sue Storm.

Ultimately, such hearing say showed to be nothing but inactive gossip. So just because Dags-Lewis and Company have been so far associated with roles in MCU does not mean that they will actually sign up to appear in film when the Multiverse saga ends at some point during or after Marvel phase 6.
If Marvel is aiming for an intermediate plot between the older actors who appeared in the first X-Men trilogy and their younger colleagues who starred in FOX’s own X-Men start, Howell-Baptist or Turner-Smith would be good passes for a munroe in their mid-30s. However, where Cranston and Day-Lewis are worried, I would be amazed if they ink to play Professor X and Magneto.
We will have to wait and see if any of these rumors have drugs for them. The one thing that is absolutely sure, however, is that these will not be the last X-Men-Casting rumors we read about. It will be a long and sometimes frustrating period of speculation, so strap for lots of more foreign rumors in the weeks, months and even years to come, all together. In the meantime, find out how to watch the X-Men movies in order and how to watch the Marvel movies in order.
