Security forces have killed three militants affiliated with Baloch Liberation Front (BLF), as officials described as an Indian sponsored proxy group during two separate operations in Balochistan Province, the military’s media wing said in a statement.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the first intelligence-based operation was launched in the Gishkur area of the Awaran District following reports of the presence of Indian-Rygde Terrorists.
“During the performance of Operation, his own troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, and after an intense fire exchange, Indian sponsored terrorist Younas was killed while two Indian sponsored terrorists were wounded,” the statement reads.
In a separate commitment to Turbat City neutralized Kech District, security forces two more militants identified as BLF commander Sabrullah and the Operative Amjad Bichoo.
Both were described by the authorities as actively involved in attacks on law enforcement authorities and targeted killings of civilians, Ice PRAP said, adding that weapons, ammunition and explosives were regained from the stage.
Security officials said that sanitization operations are ongoing in the area to ensure that there are no remaining militant elements. “Security forces in Pakistan, in steps with the nation, remain determined to avert trials from Indian clerks by sabotaging peace, stability and progress in Balochistan,” the statement added.
