Scottie Schefflers PGA -Championship Camping Goes Wrong

Scottie Scheffler was pumped after securing the first PGA championship in his career.

Scheffler threw the hat down on the green at Quail Hollow in Charlotte, North Carolina as he celebrated winning the big tournament with an 11-under couple. He went to his family and embraced his wife, son and parents as they congratulated him.

The adrenaline must have transferred to Wanamaker Trophy celebration. Scheffler lifted the piece of hardware a little too awkward, and lid on the trophy fell from the top and hit the ground.

He laughed at, like the rest of the fans who saw the ceremony, occur.

Collin Morikawa had the same boom when he won the PGA championship in 2020.

Scheffler shot one last round 71 to secure the third big victory in his career.

He had a rough first couple of holes and let Jon Rahm come to fruition. However, he locked in while Rahm fell from the pace of the back nine.

“This one back nine will be one that I remember for a long time,” Scheffler said. “It was a grinding out there. I think at one point on the front that I might have had a four- or five-shot lead, and took the turn I think I was tied to the lead.

“So to step up when I needed the most, I will remember it for a while.”
