The founder and CEO of Dell Technologies has called on companies of all sizes to fully embrace the potential offered by AI to remain competitive and thrive in front of the competition.
By delivering the opening key at Dell Technologies World 2025, Michael Dell warned how “the real danger remains quiet,” as he highlighted several ways AI can benefit companies.
“AI is the new electricity – and Dell is the grid that drives this transformation,” he declared.
Makes AI easier
Under the keynote, the founder led us along the “Dell Technologies Way”, where the company’s services and systems operate a wide range of companies, industries and individuals.
“Our street lives with your energy, and yes – your creativity and your data,” he declared, “whether you are developing cancer treatments or growing a business, data is at the center of everything everywhere, all the time.”
This included the company’s “AI Factory” platform, which saw its second generation revealed as part of a long -term partnership with Nvidia.
“For most of us … AI is not your product, but AI can run your purpose,” added Dell, “You don’t need your own colossus, but you need AI and we take all the experience of these massive systems to make AI easier for you.”

Dell noted how over 75% of the company data will soon be created and processed at the edge – “and AI will follow the data – not the other way around.”
“The future of AI will be decentralized, low-latence and hypere efficiency and that is why Dell groundbreaking edge-IA revolution, bringing real-time intelligence to the place where the data lives.”
“Here at Dell we love data,” he added, “We store them, we protect them, we organize it, and we transform it into actions and insights that drive human progress – and the turbocharged by AI, this progress engine goes faster than ever before,” he added.
