Olivia Munn opened to the life -changing effect of her cancer diagnosis.
In a recent chat with PeopleThe 44-year-old actress revealed that her breast cancer diagnosis was a “degraded moment” in her life and that changed her perspectives.
“I don’t think I realized how much I focused on things that didn’t do anything until I had one in my life that was diagnosed with breast cancer,” Mother of two explained.
Munn, who is married to John Mulaney, continued to say, “It’s unfortunate, I believe when something that is big, to turn your head around to look back on how you have lived and realize as, ‘oh, wait, these things don’t matter.’ But at the same time, it is, I assume, the blessing in those moments.
Since the horror of the health, Munn said she has found true joy in spending time with her family and friends and cherishes that everyone has spent with them.
“So when I have the energy to get up in the morning and I have the energy to be with my family and my friends, and I get to work with amazing people, it really is, so Saccharine as it may sound when I get up and I am here and I get to see the sky and I see my kids playing and I get to talk to my friends-I just need it,” she said about her son Malcolm, 3, 3, 3.
“Everything else is just extra,” she added.
