Robert Griffin III was among those who chimmed into the latest saga in the rivalry between basketball stars Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark and said that Chicago Sky Star “Hader Caitlin Clark.”
“After seeing Caitlin Clark’s flagant mistake on Angel Reese and the demand, there is no way Angel Reese can continue the lie that she doesn’t like Caitlin Clark,” wrote Griffin on X. “I know what hate looks like. Angel Reese Hader Caitlin Clark. No basketball rivalry had.”
Griffin later claimed that his statement was “purely based in basketball” and was simply a “sports recording.”

Tempers flared between Reese and Clark after the fever made a blatant mistake in the sky forward. It was one of the bigger moments of Indiana’s 93-58 blowout victory on Saturday.
The current ESPN NFL analyst and former Pittsburgh Steelers star Ryan Clark responded to Griffin’s comments to the Reese-Clark drama. Clark suggested that Griffin join the “Hadet train” and fell in line with the positions that other media figures have taken.

“When RG3 jumps on the Hadoget or the angry train, it now follows what we saw from Keith Olbermann, what we saw from Dave Portnoy as they poured out on Angel Reese to make her the villain and Caitlin Clark Clark or Hero Story,” Clark said during a recent episode of his “The Pivot” podcast.
“The one thing we know about RG3 is that he has no conversations at home about what black women have to endure in this country. About what young black women and athletes like Angel Reese have had to tackle to be on the opposite side of Caitlin Clark’s rise and ascension to star status.”

Clark then highlighted the marriage of the former NFL quarterback.
“If you are RG3, when is the last time in your household, have you had a conversation about what [Angel Reese is] Handling of? “Asked Clark.” You have not been able to do so because in both of your marriages you have been married to white women. “
Griffin is married to Grete Griffin, native to Estonia and a Heptathlet.

“You haven’t had the opportunity to have these conversations to educate you about what they feel like black women handle what they see when they think of a young angel Reese. And all the time, he mimics Angel Reese and bob his head and move his throat while doing all this piece is his wife in his back and claps.”
Griffin left ESPN in 2024. Several business reported at that time that Griffin’s dismissal was a cost -saving feature.
“When I worked with RG3, he would make all these kinds of grainy jokes about milk and how much he loved it and how important it was. And he always points out on social media the color of his wife’s white skin. As if the color of the skin is what makes her special. As if the color of the skin is what makes her a good wife,” Clark continued.
“I have met the lady. I have had a conversation with her. I think she is more than that. But it also leads to what black women deal with a lot of black men who have chosen to date or marry outside their race. They always feel they have to walk the extra mile to support the woman that they married or the woman they are with over black women.”
Griffin caught Wind of Clark’s comments and went to social media to share his answer.
“Ryan Clark personally attacking me and my family personally over a sports opinion is Feig, spinless and weak,” Griffin wrote on X along with a more than two -minute long video. Griffin also said several times that Clark’s claims were “road out of bounds.”
Caitlin Clark and Reese have greater history and dating back to 2023 NCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship. Both players neglected the incident.
Clark told Espns Holly Rowe after the third quarter that there had been “nothing malicious” behind the bad.
