California’s girls spur athlete Reese Hogan received praise on social media over the weekend as she briefly jumped on the first -place marker during the podium ceremony and stood for a photo after she lost to a transsexual athlete in the triple jump.

Hogan, an athlete from Crean Lutheran High School, set a personal record and school post in the triple jumps on 37 feet, 2 inches during the meeting on Saturday. She competed in Division 3 in California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Section Finals.

The transient athlete from the Jurupa Valley High School defeated Hogan by more than 4 meters. The athlete also won long -hop competition.

Hogan, with a medal around her neck, smiled as she stepped up to first place when the ceremony was done. The junior received massive cheer in the video circulating around social media and praised her as the “real master.”

The 16-year-old was among those who told Pakinomist Digital last week that cif officials got her and her co-athletes to remove their “Protect Girls Sports” t-shirts before their meeting at CIF Southern Section Prelims.

She claimed that officials made them feel that if they did not remove their shirts, then they would be disqualified from the event.

“It wasn’t said, but it was suggested that if I didn’t take my shirt off back then and there, something could potentially happen to my place, it wasn’t said, but it was suggested,” Hogan said. “During the day it became a little more stricter … to become a little more hostile with their voices … they never said anything about being disqualified, but it was kind of implied of the tone of their voice and the way they said things.”

Since the controversy at Prelims, Trump has put California and head of government Gavin Newsom on notice.

The state has still sued President Donald Trump’s executive order to keep biological men out of girls and women’s sports. CIF is already under a title IX study.
