97% of Pakistanis Hail Army’s performance during the latest clash with India: Survey

The majority of Pakistanis are pleased with the political and military leadership to provide an appropriate answer to Indian aggression, as 97% of the respondent considered the army performance as “good or very good”, according to a recent study.

The study entitled “Public opinion by India Pakistan Ceasefire: Comprehensive Analysis” conducted by Gallup Pakistan between May 13 and 18.

According to the study, 96% of countrymen declared the triumphant of the Pakistani army during the recent war between the two nuclear armed neighbors in South Asia.

The public opinion of the armed forces also improved significantly after the conflict, with 93% of Pakistanis saying that their opinion of the armed forces had changed positively.

73% of respondents said they are satisfied with the government’s performance and paid tribute to its success on the diplomatic front, while 12% took a neutral attitude, 7% seemed anger and 8% refrained from making any sense, according to the investigation report.

The Gallup study also stated that Pakistanis also praised political parties for taking a clear position against India. 65% of the respondent called the role of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) exemplary, 58% paid tribute to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), while 60% called PTI’s role “good”.

87% of respondents believed that the recent war was imposed on Pakistan by India.

In response to a matter of ceasefire, 91% of Pakistanis considered the government’s decision to accept the ceasefire as the right one, while 6% opposed it.

When asked whether India would fully comply with the ceasefire agreement, 52% of Pakistanis seemed confident and said India should continue the ceasefire, while 34% expressed doubts and said India would break the ceasefire and 14% said they knew nothing about it.
