It is a crowded quarterback room in Cleveland, which also includes Deshaun Watson, Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett. And one can imagine that with two rookies, both of which are something very touted, things can be awkward.

“Everything has been cool,” Sanders told Sportscasting. “He’s a cool person. I like how he handles situations, especially just the negative media that comes his way. I’m just glad he’s positive. He’s able to deal with everything. We’re really cool.”

He also rejected a question that he got the first snaps from the camp (something head coach Kevin Stefanski said not “investigating”).

“I think the more questions I am asked like that, it just shares the team,” he said. For me we are in a room full of not only us – Kenny, Joe and Deshaun. For us, we know how important a healthy QB room is. But also, a team that you want to be a part of. How do you create an environment every single day where everyone can be their best? It’s just pushing to each other which talent naturally does. Of course, it’s healthy. For us, we all do our stuff and everyone wins. “
