- Renders of the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic has been viewed
- They combine classic and ultra aesthetics
- The upcoming watch was to arrive sometime in July
With only a few months left, until the expected launch of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8, some freshly stubborn renderings of the classic version of Smartwatch have emerged online, showing the return of the device’s rotating frame.
These reproductions come from well -known Tipster @onleaks and Sammyguru and are based on schematic information leaked from the supply chain. We get to see the clock from all angles and it looks like a stylish, polished gadget.
This particular tipster has a strong track record when it comes to revealing device design in advance, but remember that this is still just a leak – we don’t know the final design of the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic before Samsung does it officially.
We didn’t get a classic model last year, but the upcoming watch seems to combine elements from the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic from 2023 and Galaxy Watch Ultra, who debuted in 2024.
Rumored dimensions
Look at
It looks like we get a slightly square shaped frame, like on the Galaxy Watch Ultra, even though this seems to be a little more rounded. In fact, it may be that the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is taking the site of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 this year.
Then there is the rotating frame that is always present on the classic model and which makes it easier to operate the clock. In recent years we have had classic models every two years, so we are because of another in 2025.
This same leak mentions a 1.5-inch screen and dimensions of “approximately” 46 x 46.5 x 14.2 mm-as actually sounds pretty accurate. The indications are that this will be the only available size when it comes to the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic.
If Samsung sticks to the same schedule it followed in 2024, we see that this watch is revealed by a unpacked launch event sometime in July, along with the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 and maybe the Tri-Fold Samsung Galaxy G Fold.
