Britney Spears has shared a clarification of a recent scandal about her illumination of a cigarette in the middle of the air.
For those who are not daring, the princess of pop, 43, traveled from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to Los Angeles on a May 22 flight when she suddenly lit a cigarette as she drank.
The singer was immediately asked to lay out the cigarette as she complied with, but was still confronted with the authorities later after landing and issued a warning. A source also claimed that this was not the first time the singer had received a warning.
When the incident came headlines, Spears went to Instagram the next day to share her view of demand.
“Me yesterday !!! It’s actually incredibly fun !!!” Spears began in her caption as she dropped a video of her from the plane.
“Some flights I’ve been on, you can’t smoke for the most part, but this one was different because drinkers were on [the] outside [the] Seat !!! ”She wrote in the mail on May 23
“Confession It was my first time drinking vodka !!! I swear I felt so smart !!! I was like wow what the heck is in there !!! I felt so ready and smart !!! And said I want a cigarette so bad !!!”
The singer then clarified that it was not her who started it.
“My friend put it in my mouth and turned it on for me so I was like oh, so this is a plane where you can smoke !!!”
The Grammy winner continued to apologize regardless. Further labeling of flying ‘steps to contact the authorities “kinda much.”
She also made several accusations of a flight that especially described her as “weird” and claimed she “invaded” the singer’s personal space.
“I do [apologise] To everyone, I have offended, but the flights always make sure I am on the back of the plane anyway !!! “Wrote spears.
“I thought officials greeted me as support and I was like wow I feel special !!! I have never been to an international airport !!! am I famous or something ???”
“The flight participant called officials because I smoked a cigarette !!! and bothered me which jeez i thought was a bit much but she didn’t like me the moment I got on [the] Fly !!! “The singer continued.
“No one was on the plane for [the] First 20 minutes and she wouldn’t let me get out of my seat I would get up !!! She was so strange by making sure I sat down and it was weird !!! I didn’t like the way she put my seatbelt on me and invaded my place !!! “
Spears was under a conservatory for 13 years after mental health concerns after a series of troubled events in the early 2000s. The star’s father, Jamie Spears, served as a conservator of her property.
The singer successfully applied the right to terminate the conservatory in November 2021, and about two years after it ended, released its best -selling memoir, The woman in me.
