Bindi Irwin “heals” after her paralyzing health.
The celebrity conservationist went to his Instagram account on Sunday, May 25 to share an emotional health update two weeks after undergoing an emergency surgery due to a broken appendix and recurring endometriosis.
“Healing,” the TV personality began, “Thank you for your incredible words about support and kindness. The reason I share my health journey is because more girls and women desperately need answers to their undiagnosed pain. I have been struggling with endometriosis for more than 12 years. This disease is paralyzing and can make you feel incredibly isolated.”

To take a stand to “raise awareness and change the narrative of women’s health,” Irwin approached women facing endometriosis and said, “I see you, your pain is real and you deserve answers and genuine health care.”
The update came after Irwin missed an annual gala that celebrated his deceased father, Crocodile Hunter Star Steve Irwin because of her sudden health.
For those who are not daring, “endometriosis is a condition in which cells similar to the lining of the uterus, or endometrium, grow outside the uterus,” causes severe pain, irregular periods and in extreme cases infertility according to the Mayo Clinic.
