Security forces killed nine India-backed terrorists in three separate operations in Dera Ismail Khan, Tank and Khyber Districts in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP), the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement Sunday.
According to the ISPR, the media wing in the military, the Khwarij expression was used for the forbidden Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan killed the night between Saturday and Sunday. It said weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed Indian sponsored terrorists.
“An intelligence-based operation was performed by the security forces in Dera Ismail Khan district, about the reported presence of Indian sponsored Khwarij.
Another intelligence -based operation was performed in the Tank District, and in subsequent fire exchange two Indian sponsored Khwarij were sent to hell of the security forces. In the third meeting, which took place in the ordinary Bagh, Khyber District, neutralized own troops successfully three more Indian sponsored Khwarij, “it added.
“Weapons and ammunition were also regained from the killed Indian sponsored Khwarij, who remained actively involved in several terrorist activities in these areas.”
According to the ISPR declaration, sanitization operations were carried out to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area. “The security forces in Pakistan are determined to wipe out the threat of Indian sponsored terrorism from the country,” it added.
President Asif Zardari praised the security forces for their courage by killing nine Indian sponsored terrorists in three separate operations in KP. He appreciated the successful operations of the security forces to eliminate India-backed terrorists.
The president said the security forces would continue to operate until the terrorists were completely removed. “Our decision to eliminate terror elements and defend the country remains unwavering,” he said, repeating the national decision to remove “Fitnat-Ul-Khawarij completely.
