Nintendo Switch 2 has been discovered on US retailers days before its official release.
As reported by VGC, an alleged employee in Target shared a now-slit Reddit post (via X/Twitter) showing several Switch 2 consoles in their packaging available in the store, although locked inside a cage so no one can get their hands on one.
The user claimed the store had received 40 consoles, 20 ordinary and 20 Mario Kart World Bundles confirming that the highly expected device is now distributed to retailers across the United States.
Nintendo Switch 2 is launched globally on June 5, 2025 for $ 449.99 / £ 395.99 and $ 499.99 / £ 429.99 for the official Mario Kart World Bundle, which comes with a digital copy of the game.

The British pre -orders and US pre -orders are now live, but if you missed securing a pre -order and struggling to find stock, Gamestop and Best Buy have announced that they will restore Switch 2 devices in the store and online under the console launch.
Gamestop confirmed that it will also host a launch event that will start in the store at 1 p.m. 15 local time on June 4, which allows buyers to pick up a Switch 2, which starts at. 12 est / 21 pm pst.
