American Tennis Pro Taylor Fritz was removed from French Open In the first round on Monday in a shockingly disturbed orchestrated by Germany’s Daniel Altmaier.
The 66th. Ranked player defeated Fritz, No. 4 Seeds and reigning Us open Runner-Up, 7-5, 3-6, 6-3, 6-1 at the Court Simonne-Mathieu in Paris Monday. He broke his serving five times.

“It’s kind of what’s going on a little lately,” Fritz told journalists after the match, via tennis.com. “I think I’m generally playing fine. It’s just a lot of important points. I’m just like playing terrible tennis on many of the important points.”

Fritz is only the newest top -ranked tennis Pro to become a victim of Altmaier in Paris.
Just two years ago, he disturbed Italian tennis star Jannik Sinner at the French Open after disturbing No. 8 Seed Matteo Berrettini also in 2020 at Roland Garros.
“It was very special,” said Altmaier after the match via tennis.com. “I think I worked really hard in recent weeks to gain confidence and prepare for those kinds of matches.”

“I feel like I’m ready to play the one that will meet me. I’m really happy to have this first win and I really love my performance,” he added.
Altmaier will the next face vit Kopriva, who defeated Thiago Monteiro in five sets to move on to the second round.
Fritz was the tallest seeded American man in Paris since Andy Roddick competed in the French Open as No. 3 seeds in 2007. He was also the first American to reach a men’s grand slam singles final with his US open performance last year since Roddick did it in 2009.

Fritz goes on to Wimbledon Next month, where he previously reached the quarterfinals in 2022 and 2024.
