Channing Crowder, a former NFL player who now hosts “The Pivot” with Ryan Clark, apologized for comments he made about Jordon Hudson about Bill Belichick’s interview on the podcast last week.

One of Belichick’s stops among his book tour was on an episode of “The Pivot”, but Crowder said Hudson “choreographed the open” in the interview, which included Belichick’s results as both coach and author.

Crowder also said Hudson “just lurk” and “have her paws on the situation.”

But in Tuesday’s edition of the podcast, Crowder went back with his comments and said he had also apologized to Belichick.

“When I talked about it on radio, you fall into the stories. I was caught in the story, caught in the question,” Crowder said. “When someone sees that you have talked to a football god, they will now ask the questions they have had on their minds for years. And I will say that is what I was caught in.

“And I just want to tell Bill, Jordon, I apologize for any negativity it brought to you. Coach, we talked on the phone. I told you that I respect you as much as I do someone in this world. And what happened, and the articles that came out were unrealistic, and that’s the opposite of what I would do for you and what I would do for your relationship.

Clark also added that “some of the things” written about Hudson’s potential commitment is “not the truth.”

“Bill personally reached me and we decided we would ask about the book. But I asked, ‘Hey Coach, can we get into a little more?'” Clark said, adding that Hudson was even asked on the camera, but they didn’t make the final clip.

Clark said he had been talking to the couple for an hour and a half before the interview even began, and Hudson was back before the interview with Belichick even began.

But “Jordon wanted to be represented in a certain way. Jordon wanted their relationship to be represented in a certain way. It did Bill.”

“The conversations we had after [the interview]What was before the show was released was: ‘What can we show about Bill talking about her? And the rest of our interview, ” said Clark. ‘ So for people to sit around saying it was choreographed in a certain way because Jordon hovered, that’s not true. She was gone under that part.

“She sat when Bill and I were together. She actually interviewed while Bill and I were together. It was the three of us sitting around and having a conversation that was filmed that we just didn’t release. And then I think the story that people want to build around her and her control was not shown during our interview.”

Hudson previously received flak for his commitment to one of Belichick’s interviews with CBS. According to reports, the Hudson CBS interview interrupted several times and even stormed off at one point and delayed the interview by approx. 30 minutes.

Belichick released a statement that he was “surprised” to get the questions about his relationship and that when Hudson had stepped in, she had done her job. He continued to accuse CBS of creating a “false tale” with so -called “selectively edited clips.” CBS answered and disagreed with Belichick’s version of events.

In the interview with “The Pivot”, Belichick cleared the air at Hudson’s reported involvement with “Hard Knocks,” eventually and said the show was not a match with UNC. He also reiterated that Hudson is not involved in UNC football, a statement that the school itself gave up after reports that Hudson was excluded from the facility.
