Kaia Gerber paid tribute to an emotional tribute to her “Forever Best Friend” days after her mother Cindy Crawford shared about a heartbreaking family loss.
On May 22, Crawford announced that their 17-year-old Family Dog Widget died in her social media account.
Gerber went to his Instagram account on May 27 to get a heartfelt note for his childhood furry friend with Throwback -Snaps.
“To say goodbye to my ever-best friend,” she wrote the post along with a black and white video of Widget.
“Thanks for seventeen happy year little dancer,” she noted.
Crawford revealed in Widgeten’s honor that she used to be afraid of dogs, but not to pass on her fears to her daughter, she adopted two less scary dogs.
“I knew I wouldn’t pass on my fears of dogs to them, so we got two little dogs-it wasn’t too scary. What I didn’t know was how fun to have little furry friends adding to family life,” the 59-year-old supermodel wrote in the heartwarming post.
“I loved watching my kids chase our dogs around or dress them up or just cuddle on the couch, ‘Crawford continued, adding,” and as my kids got older, and our dogs too, their friendly presence continued to bring joy to our lives. “
