Developer CD project has confirmed that a successor to Cyberpunk 2077As it now calls Cyberpunk 2is now in pre -production.
The news comes from the study’s latest earnings report that stated that the sale of Cyberpunk 2077 enlargement Phantom Liberty Has now surpassed ten million copies in less than two years.
This large milestone, according to the developer, ”confirms sustained interested in Cyberpunk universe from the game community. “
It continues to reveal that Cyberpunk 2077 Successor, previously referred to as Project Orion, has now “wrapped in his conceptual phase and entered pre -production”.
Pre-production is an important step in game development, which is largely focused on nailing the core concepts of the game that you develop and developing key design documents.
As the name suggests, however, it means that the game is still in its very early stages. I wouldn’t expect a Cyberpunk 2 Soon soon at any time, especially when you are considering it took almost eight years to end its predecessor.
Cyberpunk 2 developed with The Witcher 4a fantasy role-playing game (RPG) and sequel to the very popular The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
The Witcher 4 was officially revealed in a movie trailer at the Game Awards 2024 after an initial tease all the way back in 2022. Considering the release of his revealing trailer, The Witcher 4 is probably much longer in development than Cyberpunk 2And will almost undoubtedly release before.
Hopefully we will see more of it, potentially in the form of a new trailer, soon.
