ONE New York Yankees Fan was wounded during Friday evening’s game against Los Angeles Dodgers as he claims that a piece of concrete from inside Dodger Stadium fell on him and hit the man in his back.
The athletic Reported the incident on Saturday.

Ricardo Aquino from Mexico City looked at his favorite team line during a new game for Game 5 in the 2024 World Series when he was suddenly hit in the back with what seemed to be a piece of garbage from above.

“He has some pain, but all it was was hit. He didn’t bless, but he’s in some pain,” Alvaro Baeza told The Athletic and translated Outlet’s interview with Aquino.
According to the report, Aquino sat in section 10 – an area between the home plate and first base. The concrete piece fell on him during the third round.

Athletic’s Brendan Kuty shared photos on X showing the size of the waste, which reportedly hit Aquino and the area of the stadium, from which he claims it was falling.

Witnesses sitting around Aquino confirmed his account for the outlets.
“We spend a lot of money up here,” a person said. “We should at least be safe.”
Dodgers did not immediately respond to Pakinomist Digital’s request for comment, but said to Athletic in a statement, “We are aware of the report. We cannot say anything more until we have all the information we are currently collecting.”
