Baltimore Orioles’ Coby Mayo took a little warm Saturday under his team’s 4-2 win over Chicago White Sox.

At the bottom of the fourth inning, with two outs and one runner in second place, Mayo hit a single to the left field for his first career MLB RBI.

When Mayo tried to move on to the second base after hit, the White Sox threw the ball back and caught Mayo in an overview between first and second base.

Mayo then exchanged words with White Sox -Infielder’s Miguel Vargas and Sosa, and Umpires stood near them as the conversation was intensified. Eventually, Mayo picked up his helmet and returned to O’s dugout on the first base line, but he reached out his right hand and pushed sosa in the chest on the way. Rojas then pushed mayo from behind.

The cloud wing caused both benches and bullpens to clear, and the teams converged in the middle of the field. UMPIRES eventually restored order before something became physical and both teams retired.

Mayo was criticized for the stunt on social media, where many called his actions “Bush League.”

“Obviously, just try to get to another base and try to get in the scoring position for Heston [Kjerstad]. [They cut] It turned off and went into an overview. Obviously it was just told in the smaller leagues about trying to stay in an overview and I thought he was in the baseline, and [I was] Trying to get some contact. Didn’t think it escalated. I didn’t try to do it, it just did, ”Mayo told journalists.
