A high -level parliamentary delegation led by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) President Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has reached the United States to represent Pakistan’s attitude towards the recent conflict with India, expressed Express News on Sunday.
The high-level diplomatic visit led by Bilawal, which has also served as the country’s foreign minister, comes in the wake of India’s escalation following the Pahagam attack. Both nuclear armed neighbors experienced increased military tensions, with Pakistan shot down six Indian aircraft. A ceasefire was reached after the intervention of US President Donald Trump.
According to sources, the committee led by Bilawal will meet members of the US Administration, Congress, Thinking Tanks and Media to inform them about Pakistan’s attitude to the escalating tensions with India.
The purpose of the delegation is to highlight what it calls the fundamental causes of potential conflicts in the Pakistan India and raises concerns about India’s disinformation campaigns and foreign affected operations aimed at Pakistan.
