Residents of Karachi experienced low -intensity earthquakes through Sunday night to Monday morning with at least four tremors reported all over the city. Ameer Haider Laghari, head of the National Tsunami Warning Center Karachi, said the Landhi Error Line in Karachi had become active.
He explained that energy had built up along the error line, which is now gradually released, resulting in mild shaking across parts of the city.
Laghari said shaking can continue for one to two days, but their intensity is expected to gradually fall.

He urged residents not to panic and added that this is part of a natural seismic process.
At least four shivers were felt within 24 hours.
The latest earthquake measured 3.2 on the Richter scale with the city’s densely populated Quaidabad area as its episents. The area’s residents had also experienced a similar 3.6-strength shake at. 17.33 yesterday.
Both earthquakes during the night come from a low depth of 10 kilometers below the surface.
The third tremor was reported in areas including Quaidabad, Malir and the surrounding neighborhoods. Residents described hearing unusual sounds from birds and animals during the night, which added to their anxiety.
Shaking was marked in parts of Karachi on Sunday night with a size of 3.6 recorded on the Richter scale. According to the Meteorological Department’s Seismological Center, it was episents of the earthquake near Quaidabad and the depth was recorded in 10 kilometers.
Aftershocks stirs panic over the city late at night
Shakes were marked in several parts of Karachi at. 1.03, which led to residents of areas such as Malir Khokhrapar, Shah Faisal Colony, Landhi, Korangi, Jafar Tayyar (Malir), Bakra Peeri, Landhi Future Mother, Yellow Ahmed and Hospital Chowrangi to flee from their homes in fear of giving religious prayers and seeking security.
Then further shakes in Shah Latif Town, Bhains Colony and nearby sites felt.
According to the Seismological Center, the second earthquake had a size of 3.2 and occurred at a depth of 12 kilometers with its episent near Gadap Town, Karachi.

Later, a third tremor was reported in areas including Quaidabad, Malir and the surrounding neighborhoods. Residents described hearing unusual sounds from birds and animals during the night, which added to their anxiety.
People were seen recite “Allah-U-Akbar”, “Kalima Tayyaba” and “Durood Sharif,” while many allegedly sought forgiveness in fear. Some homes have reportedly caused minor damage, including cracks in walls.
These tremors come only two months after a moderate earthquake hit the city. On March 31, an earthquake was recorded on a force of 75 kilometers north of Karachi, with shaking felt at. 16.11. This earthquake, at a depth of 19 kilometers, caused no reported injury, but led to widespread public concern and online discussion.
