Youth shot dead ‘by customs” during snap control

Karachi:

A youth was killed in a shooting near the boat pool traffic lights. The heirs claimed that the deceased was shot dead by customs officials who, with the help of police, abducted the eyewitness in the incident from Jinnah Hospital and took him with him.

The deceased heirs protested with the body at the native Jetty Bridge and demanded arrest of customs officials involved in the murder, registration of a case against them and the release of the eyewitness.

According to details, a person driving on a Toyota Corolla Altis car number AGB-636 shot dead at night between Sunday and Monday near the boat pool signal within the boundaries of Boat Basin Police Station. The body of the deceased, identified as 28-year-old Ehsan Noorullah, was moved to Jinnah Hospital.

According to police, the incident took place near the boat pool signal where customers in a government fraud and a private car signaled to stop a car filled with Iranian powder milk. When the driver did not stop the car and tried to escape, the officials opened fire. As a result, Ehsan died on the spot while the other young man in the car, Shahzaib remained unscathed.

The victim’s family claimed that the customs authority Adil Bhatti was also involved in the shooting. They said they informed the police of the incident and cooperated with them.

Eyewitness Shahzaib also made his statement to the police, but after some time the customs officials came to the hospital with the Boat Basin police and took Shahzaib with him in a car from the emergency, relatives claimed.

Police officials reached the native jetty and negotiated with the protesters. Originally, they refused to say that they will not end their protest unless the customs officials are arrested and Shahzeb is released. Later, at Police Insurance, they ended their protest. A case of the incident will be registered on the complaint of the deceased heirs.

Robbers damage three

The robbers wounded three citizens, including a 12-year-old boy as they opposed a robbery in the steel city. The citizens caught the bandits, coarse them up, and then handed them to the police.

The wounded citizens were identified as 12-year-old Saifullah and Junaid Khan.

Meanwhile, armed suspects opened during a robbery in a clothing store in Mahmoodabad fire against the shop owner on his resistance and seriously injured him. The wounded shop owner was identified as 20-year-old Zain.
