The British royal family on Tuesday thanked “Everyone who welcomed Princess Royal to Barbados this weekend”.
According to a statement from the royal family, Prince Anne Barbados visited to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study conferences as well as meet with local people and dignitaries.
It said Princess Royal has been in Barbados, where she performed a number of engagements to meet local people and dignitaries.
She participated in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study conferences, which she is president who has taken over from her father in 2011.
The Commonwealth Study Conference was founded in 1956 by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, to explore the intersection of business success and community development. During the visit, Princess Royal Met Study Groups participated in the dialogue Caribbean-Canada dialog and Report Back dialogues. Her Royal Highness also participated in a board dinner as well as a final plenary reception and dinner hosted by the conference.
While in Barbados, Princess Royal attended a reception in the British High Commission Bridgetown to celebrate the king’s official birthday. Here she had the opportunity to meet the president of Barbados, Dame Sandra Mason and the Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Mottley.
At Barbados Military Cemetery, she made a wreath and participated in the 80 -year anniversary of Victory in Europe Day Service at Barbados Military Cemetery.
The cemetery is part of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, which cares for war digging in 23,000 locations in more than 150 countries and territories.
The princess also celebrated the 70th anniversary of the Barbados Olympic Association with the employees.
Finally, Princess Royal Regional Security System and Barbados Defense Force’s Field Medical Hospital visited Paragon Base in Christ Church.
